Work Environment Veterinary Clinic Responsibilities Tasks - Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests - Handle, immobilize and care for animals during treatments and surgery - Produce diagnostic radiographs - Assist the veterinary surgeon before, during and after operations - Prepare and administer medications and vaccines, under the direction of the veterinarian - Administer treatments prescribed by the veterinarian - Provide advice to clients on animal health care - May perform a variety of office management and administrative tasks - Perform routine dental procedures and assist veterinary dentists - Provide nursing care to animals and manage their rehabilitation - Care for and dress wounds Additional Information Personal Qualities - Accurate - Client-focused attitude - Effective interpersonal relations - Excellent oral communication - Excellent written communication - Flexibility - Initiative - Judgment - Organizational skills - Team spirit - Versatility Benefits Other Benefits - Free parking available
