Work Environment: Nursing home/senior care facility Responsibilities Tasks - Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling medical equipment - Perform other tasks related to patient care and comfort - Provide and empty bedpans - Measure patients' blood pressure, take their temperature and pulse - Serve meal trays and feed patients - Weigh, lift, turn, or position patients - Make beds and ensure patients' rooms are clean - Supervise exercise routines performed by patients - Maintain inventory of supplies - Wash, dress patients and perform their hygiene - Transport patients in wheelchairs or on stretchers - Answer call signals to determine patients' needs Credentials - First Aid Certificate - CPR Certificate Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Abilities - Standing for long periods - Sitting, standing and walking - Walking - Weight Handled: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal Qualities - Client-focused attitude - Sense of responsibility - Excellent oral communication - Initiative - Openness to others - Teamwork spirit - Patience
