# Job Description **Responsibilities Tasks** - Ensure proper functioning of equipment - Keep files and records up to date - Monitor workload and staff location - Inform vehicle drivers of traffic issues and other situations - Allocate staff according to schedules and work sheets - Allocate staff according to emergency situations - Knowledge of procedures and regulations relating to cross-border dispatching - Knowledge of the trucking field and related regulations - Keep vehicle driver files up to date - Operate radio equipment - Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate activities of vehicle drivers and teams using dispatch equipment - Record mileage traveled, fuel consumption, repairs and other expenses - Respond to emergency calls from individuals in life-threatening situations who need assistance - Schedule work to be performed and coordinate activities of vehicle drivers and crews **Additional Information** **Working Conditions and Physical Abilities** - Ability to work independently - Attention to detail - Fast-paced work environment - Repetitive tasks - Work under pressure **Personal Qualities** - Effective interpersonal relations - Excellent verbal communication - Excellent written communication - Flexibility - Organizational skills - Reliability - Teamwork spirit
