Responsibilities Tasks Replace front-end and body components of motor vehicles, doors, chassis elements and undercarriage components File, grind and sand surfaces to be repaired Unbend body components using wooden blocks and hammers Remove damaged bumpers, panels and grilles and bolt or weld replacement parts in place Repair or replace interior components Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs Use welding equipment or filler plastic to level holes, dents and seams Straighten chassis using traction equipment and chassis and undercarriage anchoring equipment
