Work Environment Loud Odours Responsibilities Tasks Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment Weigh resins, dyes and other chemicals according to appropriate formulas Check and inspect the quality of produced material Pour weighed substances into the mixer Operate the mixer until a mixture of plastic and other chemicals with a determined consistency or viscosity is obtained Set and operate laminators that transform plastic balls or plates into sheets or continuous films of a determined thickness Adjust laminator rollers to modify the production line Set and operate machines that extrude plastic compounds through the nozzle or die Replace dies in extrusion machines as needed for the production line Prepare and replace molds and adjust equipment as needed for the production line Mix, according to the formulation chart instructions, batches of resin for injection molding Organize and maintain an up-to-date inventory Deburring and sanding plastic or fiberglass parts Operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines Credentials Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) First Aid Certificate Certificate in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Additional Information Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Attention to detail Sitting, standing and walking Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Personal Qualities Precise Sense of responsibility Reliable Team spirit Benefits Health Benefits Dental care plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Other benefits Free parking available
