Work Environment Outdoor Cold/refrigerated Dusty Hot Noisy Various work locations Responsibilities Tasks - Investigate the cause of breakdowns and verify machinery operation to detect defects and failures - Determine the nature of defects and failures using computerized control equipment and other testing tools to determine the extent of repairs needed - Order parts and maintain inventory - Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts - Maintain maintenance records and files - Welding experience - Test repaired equipment to ensure it operates properly and repairs meet manufacturer requirements - Clean and lubricate equipment and perform other routine maintenance work - Repair heavy trucks - Maintain work accessories and tools - Inspect and repair emission control systems - Perform routine machine maintenance Additional Information Safety and Security Criminal record check Transportation and Travel Information Owns a means of transportation Valid driver's license Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Physically demanding Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Possess own tools and equipment Tools Steel-toed shoes or boots Safety glasses Gloves Personal Qualities Precise Customer-focused attitude Sense of responsibility Excellent oral communication Flexibility Judgment Reliable Teamwork Organizational skills Benefits Health Benefits Disability benefits Health care plan
