Responsibilities Tasks Be part of a team of two truck drivers or a convoy Load and unload cargo Obtain special licenses and other documents required to transport cargo on international roads Drive trucks or articulated combinations to transport goods or materials Monitor the condition of vehicles and perform inspection of tires, lights, brakes, refrigerated storage equipment and other equipment Adjust brakes Perform emergency repairs on the road Inspect trucks before, during and after the trip and monitor all aspects of vehicles Receive and transmit information to the central dispatcher Record information on cargo, service hours, distances traveled and fuel consumption Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
Credentials Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Driver's license with mention of a pneumatic braking system Driver's license (Class 1 or A)
