Work Environment Accommodation Provided Hotel, motel, resort Responsibilities Tasks Sweep, wipe, wash, wax and polish floors Dust furniture Vacuum carpets, curtains and upholstered furniture Change and make beds Ensure distribution of towels and bathroom accessories Replenish linen supplies in the laundry room Clean, disinfect and polish household appliances and accessories in kitchens and bathrooms Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas Clean and disinfect elevators Collect and report lost or found items Provide customers with additional supplies or other requested items Provide general information about the establishment Collect and empty garbage Mend clothing Perform minor domestic and cleaning tasks Clean windows, walls and ceilings Clean change rooms and showers Address customer complaints and respond to their concerns Credentials Qualifications (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Certificate in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Additional Information Safety and Security Basic safety rating Criminal record check Credit verification Transportation and Travel Information Public transportation available Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Tight deadlines Repetitive tasks Sitting, standing and walking Weight handled Up to 9 kg (20 lb) Provide own tools and equipment Steel-toed shoes or boots Personal Qualities Customer-focused attitude Flexibility Organizational skills Teamwork
