Work Environment Fitness Centre Sports Federation or Organization Sports Event Local Sports Club Responsibilities Tasks Show or teach athletic, fitness or sports techniques and activities Maintain current files and records Supervise staff Assist in coordinating recreational, sports and fitness events Lead groups and individuals in social and leisure activity programs Plan and implement leisure, athletic, fitness and sports activities Maintain and repair sports equipment Direct groups or provide them with instruction Direct individuals or provide them with instruction Ensure health and safety rules are followed Set up equipment and apparatus for sports and games Supervise leisure, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and administer first aid or emergency care as needed Participate in coaching clinics Training Analyze or evaluate athlete or team performance Functions and activities of supervisors 1 to 2 person(s) Qualifications Qualifications (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Experience and Specialization Sports Experience Team Sport Individual Sport Additional Information Safety and Security Criminal Record Check Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) Transportation and Travel Information Valid Driver's License Willing to travel regularly Public transportation available Personal Qualities Accurate Customer-focused attitude Sense of responsibility Effective interpersonal relationships Flexibility Initiative Spirit Openness to others Organizational skills Reliable Team spirit Benefits Other Benefits Free parking available
