Responsibilities Tasks Investigate the cause of breakdowns and verify machinery operation to detect defects and failures Determine the nature of defects and failures, using computerized control equipment and other testing tools, in order to specify the scope of repairs to be performed Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts Maintain maintenance records and files Test repaired equipment to ensure it functions properly and that repairs comply with manufacturer requirements Install components and adjust new agricultural machinery Clean and lubricate equipment and perform other routine maintenance work Maintain accessories and work tools Inspect and repair emission control systems Perform routine maintenance of machinery Benefits Health Benefits Dental care plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial Benefits Group insurance Life insurance Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Other Benefits Other benefits Paid leave (personal days or volunteer days)
